One peg...circle. Two pegs...rectangle. Three pegs...triangle. Four pegs...square! Toddlers explore early math concepts of shape and pattern recognition, counting, sorting and problem solving as they stack simple shapes onto wooden pegs. Easy-to-hold, vibrant pieces stack on and off the board for bonus ways to play. Constructed of wooden pieces with nontoxic paint.
Founded in southern Thailand in 1981, PlanToys was the first company in the world to manufacture wooden toys from rubberwood.
We are always looking for new ways to improve and preserve our environment. PlanToys takes a step to go beyond Green by taking the concept of "Sustainability" into practice with the belief that everyone can contribute to a better world by playing sustainably.
PlanToys uses a variety of materials, including; organic rubberwood, e-zero glue, water-based dyes, recycled and recyclable materials, soy and water-based ink and our proprietary PlanWood.
PlanWood is a high density fiber composite wood made from reclaimed wood particles left from the manufacturing process of toys in the factory. This material allows toys to be made safe, stronger and more durable. PlanToys is again the first wooden toys company in the world's been using this method to make toys since 2010.

Comments about Plan Toys Geometric Sorting Board (17 pcs):
My two year old loves this. I like that it gets her to sit down quietly for a few minutes. A few games we play: She put the pieces on randomly in their proper spots, put them on in color order (all reds, then all blues, etc) or I will ask her just to do the triangles and circles. It has helped tremndously with her shape recognition.
The only thing missing that would be helpful is if they had some kind of "topper" that would keep the pieces on so it could travel well. This would be really good on a plane. But I guess I can just shove the shapes in a plastic bag.
