Comments about Chomp & Clack Alligator Walker Push Toy:

Tips over every time my son tries to pull up and use this as a walker. Has also tipped backwards while already up and walking with the toy, the handle bar smacked him in the mouth. Bloody Lip. Would not recommend this to others.

Cute idea in theory with the alligators that move but not a good design.

          Works Great on Wood Floors

Comments about Chomp & Clack Alligator Walker Push Toy:

The wheels have little rubber strips, so this works well on our wood floors - doesn't go too fast. We've had this for about 7 months, our son is an independent walker now, but he likes to play with this still (he stands on it...).

The alligator chompers work perfectly, despite being stood on by a 29 pound child.

I like the little wooden noises it makes, and I am glad I purchased it. Will be using it with our next kid when the time comes.

Comments about Chomp & Clack Alligator Walker Push Toy:

Perfect for my cruising child! Purchased this to help my son with walking. After a few days of using it he started standing on his own. Well-made and attractive. Noise level is mellow compared to other walker contraptions.

              Had the internal design worsened?

Comments about Chomp & Clack Alligator Walker Push Toy:

Bought this walker after seeing so many positive and glowing reviews on[@]. However, like what the other reviewer on Yoyo.com experienced, one of the alligator stopped chomping after a couple of days. To Yoyo.com's credit, they shipped us a replacement unit without waiting for us to ship back the original one. The replacement unit unfortunately didn't fair much better. After 4 days two of the alligators stopped chomping. This time we decided not to bother sending it back for another replacement. Instead we opened it up and found out that the plastic pieces, which when rotated cause the alligators to chomp and clack, had already fallen off. These plastic pieces were affixed to the wooden axle with some glue that apparently did not last as intended. One has to wonder if quality control has gone out the door or if they changed and botched the internal design of this walker.Very disappointed. This is our first Melissa & Doug purchase. It will also be our last.
