Comments about Chat & Count Phone:

Volume stopped working out of the blue. We changed the batteries and still no volume. The phone is expensive but my son loved it. He is 21 months old and received it for his 1st birthday. It got lost so we replaced it. After the second phone was dropped in a tub of water we riced it, took it apart, dried it and replaced the batteries. It worked a few more months! Yaaay! But now no volume. I won't be buying a third phone but I am frustrated because my son loved this phone. The phone is too unreliable for this price. I don't understand what's wrong with the speaker.

Cute little phone. Not the most entertaining Leapfrog product. Got it for my 10 month old and he hasn't really paid much attention to it. Would be good to put in the diaper bag or car for travel.

Comments about Chat & Count Phone:

This is the first toy that I have seen my 12 month old daughter really really love. She doesn't get too attached to her toys, with the exception of this one. She absolutely loves it and carries it everywhere, holding it up to her ear, or anyone's ear saying "hi". She received this as a gift at her first birthday party, but she decided to throw it into the bath, which did ruin it. I just bought a replacement one today and she would hardly let go of it for the cashier to ring in.

Lifelike for a baby toy, great price, apparently solid and durable. I would recommend for any child within the specified age range. My daughter loves it.

Comments about Chat & Count Phone:

This was one of my son's absolute favorite toys to play with while in his carseat. Sometimes it would hold his attention for a good 30 mins while riding in the car. It's nice and small, great for travel. We got it for him when he was 1 year old (6mos earlier than the suggested age), and it was an instant hit. Now that he is 21 mos, he has lost interest in it and only plays with it occasionally, but I'm not sure if this is because he's had it so long that it's no longer interesting, or because he's outgrown it. Nevertheless, we've definitely got our money's worth out of this toy.
