ABOUT HABA

It all began in 1939 in Bad Rodach, Germany, with finely polished, colorful wooden toys, that were "finely sanded and polished wonderfully smooth, just right for tender children's hands," as the first catalogue emphasized. Today these blocks are still part of our product palate. But the factory for fine wooden toys has been transformed into "the producer of inventive playthings for inquisitive minds."

All products in the HABA range have one thing in common: our attention to detail makes each item special and unique. HABA wants to playfully support children's development, make their lives happier, more exciting, and full of the delight of discovery: to put it simply, to make their world a little more child-friendly.

A wide variety of HABA toys and games have been honored with awards for exceptional design. Since 1993, no fewer than six HABA games received the "Children's game of the Year" award.

    Comments about Buzz Buzz:

This toy is adorable- and a favorite in our house! I was looking for a good toy for her to grasp on to, and came across this- couldn't be happier with the purchase. Beside the occasional smack in the face (that she gives herself with this toy in hand..) it's awesome! I got it when she was around 4 months- she's 7 months now and still loves it. Get two, so you have one for the car!

        Comments about Haba Buzz Buzz:

I bought this toy when she was between 2 and 3 months because I love Haba toys, and thought, at the very least, it would look cute on the shelf. At the time, she would kind of grab it, but wasn't too excited about it. Now, at almost 7 months, it is the toy she chooses over all others, including the light and sound toys. She grabs it, switches it between hands, shakes it, sucks on it, and bashes things with it. I attach it to the stroller, carseat, or my purse with the Tutimnyc toy holder and bring it with us on the go. I've heard some people thought it was on the small side, but it seems the perfect size to grasp with lil' hands and, being wood, would become a weapon if any larger!
