Comments about Marines Creatures (235 pcs):
Purchased for my 7 year old son who is in love with sea creatures. I'm glad I opened the box before wrapping it up for Christmas. You must punch out all the pieces first before assembling. Upon opening the box for the 1st time, it is dissappointing in contrast to the pictures of the built creatures on the box. There are just 4 foam "sheets" with the laser-cut pieces outlined on each sheet & instructions for building sea animals. So, I assembled one of the fish myself and layed it assembled in the box alongside the other pieces so it would be more exciting to open on Christmas. I kind of enjoyed assembling it, however I do question the durability of the foam pieces with small kids. I'm going to have to watch my 7 year old to make sure he doesn't tear the foam pieces. Be cautious if you have infants or pets who might put these colorful pieces in their mouth. Any kind of teeth would destroy these in a second. I'll re-review to see how my son liked/disliked it after 12/25/2011.
