Not much variety. One of the flaps makes a sound, the rest are just cloth. It's a 'meh' toy. :)

My little guy loves this toy and has for months, he is almost 9 months now. He uses the plastic part as a teether and also likes playing with the crinkly cards. It keeps him entertained and since the cards are fabric you can just throw it in the washing machine with a load to clean it. It's a great car toy for us.

Comments about Shapes & Numbers Discovery Cards - Caterpillar:

My just-turned-three month old LOVES this. He doesn't do much besides stare wide-eyed at it and smack it to make the crinkly noise, sometimes grabs it and shakes it around, but it's one of the first toys he's shown an interest in. If you just can't wait for your kid to be old enough to really "play," try this!
